Through the Quest for Knowledge quiz, a concoction of clues, riddles and questions, and by interacting with the chemistry set, dictionary and white board, you will uncover how the work of historical Muslim figures advanced the fields of science, medicine, mathematics, architecture, music and the arts.

The Virtual Classroom


The Virtual Classroom is a celebration of knowledge and learning; a celebration of scientific discoveries and technological breakthroughs; a celebration of the legacy of Islam. The Virtual Classroom aims to provide schools with material related to Islam, Muslim History and Culture; a resource to develop dialogue and understanding, promote religious tolerance and respect for diversity.

Based on a learner-centred paradigm and through a variety of interactive techniques, it also presents pupils with an opportunity to reflect on the importance of learning in the development of the individual and advancement of society.

The Virtual Classroom is a six-stage project and stage one was launched in November 2003 during Islam Awareness Week.
